I am a painter based in the Pewsey Vale in Wiltshire.

After leaving school I studied sculpture at art college and continued to pursue this interest, in the form of stone carving, as a hobby alongside a career as a therapist in the NHS.

Over recent years I have moved from working in three dimensions to two dimensional art, from sculpture to painting. My sculptural interest in form as well as a passion for colour has led me to explore a variety of subject matter.
As a keen walker I am increasingly inspired by the landscape.

I am also a member of a small group of artists who share a studio (www.maysfarmstudio.com) on a working farm in South Oxfordshire. I find painting with others inspiring, supportive and valuable in terms of the constructive criticism that this offers.
